Neptune’s Trident by Brian Carter

His Battlestar Galactica mod sent plasma shockwaves through our forums and was also nominated for Mod of the Year 2008. On the eve of bit-tech’s annual 2009′s Mod of the Year competition, Brian Carter, otherwise known as Boddaker, has been up to his old tricks again and we reckon this one is even more special than any of his previous mods.
The Lian Li V2000 is the case of choice here and as with most, if not all mods involving this fabulous case, Neptune’s Trident is water-cooled. That’s not all though – in fact we can honestly say this is one of the most amazing looking V2000 mods we’ve ever seen.
With Neptune, the Roman god of the sea as the mod’s inspiration, Brian has clearly taken water to heart with a spectacular custom metallic turquoise paint job that’s also reminiscent of the surface colour of the mod’s planetary namesake, while three water cooling loops and a meticulously engineered interior add up to a machine certainly worthy of the fearful trident wielding god.
